- Bronchodilators: These medications help relieve bronchospasm and improve airflow in patients with obstructive airway diseases like asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Beta-agonists (e.g., albuterol) and anticholinergics (e.g., ipratropium) can be beneficial.
